I have the treatment and I want to use it on my eyebrows – can this be done?

Yes – this treatment works on any live hair follicle and evidence has demonstrated results on eyebrows.

Does it work on the scalp?

There are currently trials being undertaken to treatment male pattern baldness with this treatment that you can read about but we would recommend other treatments while these are underway.

Does this work for alopecia?

This treatment would not be suitable as a treatment for alopecia, as it would not stop the body attacking the hair follicle.

I use contact lenses- is this a problem?

Contact lenses do not prevent treatment but we ask that they are removed when applying any treatment and not to re-insert for at least 30 minutes after treatment. We also recommend using the treatment at night before bed, so this would not be a problem for most. The topical solutions that we may provide contains a preservative called benzalkonium chloride, which may be absorbed by soft contact lenses and lead to irritation of the eye with time.

Should it be stored in the fridge?

No it is best stored at room temperature between 2° to 25°C away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Can I return the product if I change my mind?

We do not offer refunds for any prescribed medicine that has been opened. It is in your name and could not be reused.

 

Can it affect my eyesight?

The topical treatment that we may provide is an ophthalmic (eye) solution and thousands of patients have used it directly on their eyes for glaucoma for many years. By following the instructions there should be very little solution getting into the eye. If you had any concerns during the treatment course you should contact Skin 1st and your GP.

Does the topical treatment act as a replacement for mascara or eyelash extensions?

No. It does not work in place of mascara and mascara can be used without any problems. It is safe to use with extensions and will have no effect on the common adhesives used for eyelash extensions. Many eyelash technicians recommend this service as it gives them better lashes to work with.

What happens if I forget to use the topical treatment one night?

If you miss an application, or a few, do not use extra to catch up. Just apply the treatment the next day and stay on schedule.

 

How do I maintain my results?

To achieve the fullest possible growth, you will need to use a treatment daily for 16 weeks. After that point, you can apply the treatment every second night to maintain your results.

Do you guarantee results?

We do not guarantee results as some clients have extreme growth others have minimal growth. We can assure you that this treatment is one of the best available on the market today however.
