After basic medical aesthetic training in 2007 the business was formed in January 2008 by Andrea Carss, to bring, quality, professional medical aesthetic treatments at competitive prices to you.  Andrea works part time in her aesthetic business, fully committed to the industry, to you, and to achieving excellent results.

 

Andrea is a Registered General Nurse, and Advanced Nurse Practitioner, starting her general nurse training at the Newcastle RVI in 1983.   After qualifying, Andrea worked in theatres, acute medicine then moved into General Practice where she gained more qualifications in managing many medical conditions and Practice Nursing.  Andrea won a national award developing a national travel medicine protocol and was part of a team called the National Primary Care Collaborative which worked to bring quality care into General Practice for Coronary Heart Disease in the UK.

 

In 1998 Andrea was chosen to study as one of the first Advanced Nurse Practitioners in the UK, completing her degree being the only Nurse Practitioner given a Special Commendation from the examination board, at the Royal College of Nursing in her year group.  Andrea continued to work at an advanced level and gained her Independent Prescribing qualification, which enabled Andrea to work all over the UK diagnosing and managing complex medical conditions independently, in both adults and children.

 

Andrea has extensive experience in senior positions within the NHS and Home Office, managing a large team of nurses in the country's second largest GP surgery, being invited to Downing street for her work as a Healthcare Manager in a prison and developing new systems and ways of working in general practices across the region and nationally which are still being used in hundreds of practices all over the country today.

Andrea brought her passion into aesthetic medicine and having performed over 60,000 safe treatments, believes that you should be fully informed about not only the treatment you choose but the experience and qualifications of the person performing the treatment.  We will never hard sell treatments, only advise suitable medical treatments with realistic natural anti-ageing outcomes, to enhance your physical and mental well-being.

 

Andrea has copies of her certificates for you to check should you wish to. Andrea also has full Enhanced DBS certificate, renewed annually. This means you can be assured Andrea is safe to work with any member of the public in any environment.  

 

Andrea also keeps her AED/BLS certificate updated annually which keeps you safe and is committed to lifelong learning, attending ongoing education every year to keep abreast of all the newest procedure techniques and products available.

 

The clinic is situated in a discreet setting with free parking available only two steps from the clinic door. Andrea has a range of essential safety equipment including a defibrillator.

 

The clinic is fully licensed with Northumberland County Council.
